FAQ Clothing care
How to wash merino wool?
Simply use a gentle warm, cool or wool cycle in your washing machine with mild detergent specially formulated for natural fibers such as silk, wool, and cashmere. Avoid using fabric softeners or bleach and avoid hot water as heat may shrink wool. Remember to separate light and dark colors as you normally would.
Can I put merino in the dryer?
We don't recommend putting any merino clothes in the dryer. Just check the care instructions on the label to figure out the best way to take care of each piece.
Can I iron merino?
Merino wool easily regains its shape after washing, which means you might not have to bother with ironing at all. To know how to dry your merino garment properly, check the care instructions on the label.
How to prevent pilling?
Pilling is totally normal and happens when shorter fibers come up to the surface of the fabric. As merino wool is naturally antibacterial and doesn't hold onto odors, we suggest washing it as little as possible to prevent pilling.
