Our best-seller 220 GSM Merino blend - Thermowave’s Merino Xtreme - an advanced dual layer with a combination of Merino wool and Polyester for bravers who seek out the best properties of both fibers while running, hiking or doing snow sports in cold conditions. Merino Xtreme women's base layer made of supreme fabric, a mix of natural and man-made materials. Inside Polyester is designed for optimal moisture management, while outside Merino wool has supreme insulating properties and is naturally anti-bacterial. And the dual layer combination of both, makes for a great insulation, very durable, yet still breathable fabric. The Thermowave Merino Xtreme base layer is super soft and, thanks to flat seams - itch-free, suitable for sensitive skin.

Composition: 80% Merino wool and 20% polyamide (outside), 100% functional polyester (inside).
Due to MerinoDry technology, you’re able to feel fresh, dry and warm for longer periods of time. We created a dual-layer, made from functional polyester inside and natural Merino wool outside, for faster moisture-wicking and additional warmth. Functional polyester quickly wicks away excess moisture, and Merino wool is known for ensuring warmth, as well as having natural antibacterial properties that protect from bad odours

Merino wool is like a personal air conditioning system for your body, so it will be able to maintain a stable temperature: keep the body cool when the weather is hot, and warm when it is cold. Environmentally friendly, merino comes from the best that nature has to offer – water, fresh air, sunlight and grass. It regrows annually, is up to 100% biodegradable and always performs at its best. Forget about unnecessary moisture, humidity and that itchy feeling because this is the softest and most breathable clothing you will ever find. Each garment at Thermowave has merino wool that is mulesing free. We are very proud of this decision, and we know that sheep welfare has improved given that more and more manufacturers follow this path. We have a saying that happy sheep don‘t itch and we stand by it.
Care Guide
Machine wash using wool cycle (maximum temperature 30o C).
Wash with similar colours.
Wash inside out.
Use wool detergent, do not use softener.
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Pull into shape when wet.
Cool iron as needed (maximum temperature 110o C).
